The Dogs They Have A Meeting
The dogs they held a meeting, they came from near and far. Some came by aeroplane and some by motor car.
But ere inside that meeting hall they were allowed to look, they had to take their tails off and hang them on the hook.
In they trooped, every mother's son and sire, but scarcely were they seated when some blighter shouted “fire!”.
Out they rushed all in a pack, there was no time to look. They snatched the nearest tail from off the nearest hook.
And that is why you will always find a dog will leave a bone, to go and smell another dog's tail in the hope of finding his own.
